At Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, Kristin earned her Juris Doctor. She gained experience interning with United States District Judge Michael Mihm in Peoria, Illinois and with the Tazewell County State’s Attorney’s Office. During her time at Southern Illinois University, Kristin was also an active member of the SIU Military Law Society.

When not practicing family law, Kristin enjoys watching football, baseball, and hockey as well as spending time with her cat Jake.
