Kurt attended Syracuse University College of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 2015. While there, he also served as the Treasurer of the Asian Pacific American Law Students. Prior to that, he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from St. Louis University in 2011.

Kurt is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese & Shanghainese.
